"I was born in Mexico City, where I was brought up bilingual and bicultural. I studied at the American School Foundation in Mexico City, went to the University of Grenoble in France and finished my studies in the Universidad Iberoamericana at Mexico City. I have a husband and two children who have always supported me and my art. My father was French Monegasque and my mother Mexican.
Although I have my father's French influence on art and creativity, I've always been very proud of my Mexican culture, which is so enriching in all its aspects. I especially love handicrafts and folk art since the colors, forms, and textures found in the work of these artists are truly unique. This admiration has made me want to do something on my own; something that will help these artisans and that will produce and transform typical handicrafts, some made with very old traditional techniques, into modern, different, and unusual creations. |

I started designing jute handbags a few years ago. I made them using different combinations of colors, added different types of flowers, made longer handles, and lined them. In my creative search I came upon aluminum and became fascinated by the way it is woven, as well as the long hours dedicated to the polishing of each strip in order to make it as shiny as possible.
I'm extremely proud of the diligent people who work with me in the creation of my products. All of us pay attention to the details of each handbag and no two items are the same. The perceived irregularities of color and texture are a sign of its authenticity.
May you carry this unique artcraft with pride; it was a joy to make!"
